Rosanne
D. Ren, founder of Sea Change Partners, LLC, is an
experienced leadership and organizational development consultant
and executive coach. A consultant for more than 20 years,
Rosanne has accumulated a wide range of experience and expertise
in the field of human capital management. Since establishing her
own practice in 2002, Rosanne has focused primarily on
leadership assessment and development; executive coaching;
competency-based selection and development; organizational
learning strategy and talent management.
Rosanne’s approach to learning and development, both at the
individual and group level, is based on the principles of adult,
self-directed learning. She leverages multiple learning styles
and has created numerous customized learning programs including
readings, film case studies, experiential exercises, written
exercises and facilitated peer coaching.
Prior to founding Sea Change Partners, Rosanne led the
organizational and leadership effectiveness practice in the
western region of the U.S. for the Hay Group, after having
completed a four-year assignment in Hong Kong launching and
directing the firm's China operations. Prior to that, Rosanne
was a resident representative for the U.S.-China Business
Council in Beijing.
Rosanne completed her bachelor's degree at Columbia University,
where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and
pursued her graduate work at Princeton University. She is fluent
in Mandarin and has a basic command of French. Her professional
associations include the Society of Human Resource Management,
the American Society for Training and Development, the
Organizational Development Network and Women in Organizational
Development.
Rosanne
has served as an expert source on organizational effectiveness
for the Los Angeles Times, and has published articles in an ASTD
newsletter and the Asian Wall Street Journal. She has also
appeared on network television as an expert in Learning Styles
and on public television as an expert in cross-cultural
communication.
